First Time Home Buyer Workshop- From Here to Home

First time homebuyers have lots of questions. How much to do I need to make? What sort of down payment do I need? What credit score is required? In this workshop, you'll learn about the down payment, employment. and credit requirements needed to buy a home. At the end of this class you'll know what steps you need to take to buy your first home in Hawaii. Come get your questions answered on how to buy your first home!

• An overview of the home buying process

• What’s considered usable income and assets

• How much down payment you'll need (hint: it's not 20%. There are programs with 0%, 3%, and 3.5% down payment options) 

• Various programs available to buyers - even buyers with little to no down payment

• Credit score and credit history requirements (and ways to improve your score)

• Determining what you can buy
