COVID-19 UPDATE (3/20/2020)

THE ROOM SANTA MONICA IS CURRENTLY CLOSED UNTIL APRIL 19 OR FURTHER NOTICE BY THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES AND STATE OF OFFICIALS.

AS WE NAVIGATE THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT PERIOD, WE REMAIN OPTIMISTIC THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO OPEN AND REASSUME OUR NORMAL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS, INCLUDING OUR THURSDAY TIKI COCKTAIL CLASSES. 

ALL TICKETS PURCHASED WILL BE VALID FOR ANY FUTURE CLASS ONCE WE REOPEN. WE WILL NOTIFY ALL TICKETHOLDERS IMMEDIATELY AS SOON AS WE'RE CLEARED TO OPEN AGAIN. WE WILL POST THE UPDATED SCHEDULE AND ALL TICKET HOLDERS WILL BE ABLE TO SELECT A NEW DATE WITH THEIR EXISTING TICKETS. 

IF YOU PREFER THAT WE REFUND YOUR TICKET, SIMPLY SEND AN EMAIL TO FARAH@CIRCA93.COM AND WE'LL GLADLY DO SO WITHIN 24 HOURS.

COCKTAIL CLASSES & TIKI COCKTAILS

TIKI THURSDAYS offers cocktail enthusiasts an opportunity to delve deeper and refine their knowledge about Tiki cocktails in a relaxed, private class setting at The Room Santa Monica.

Classes explore bar basics, tools and techniques as well as individual spirits and their respective histories.
Head bartender and all-things-tiki expert, Scott Cushman, hosts the 45 minute classes every Thursday, with each class focused on different Tiki cocktail topics.

You'll get to enjoy a tasting of each cocktail taught and after the class, feel free to hang out, ask questions & enjoy converstations!

Private custom cocktail classes can be booked or reserved in advance for groups of 15 or more guests.
Classes are $20 per person and include:
• 45 Minute PRIVATE cocktail class
• Tasting of 3-4 craft cocktails throughout the class

THURSDAY 2/27 - THE DAIQUIRI
This Classic predates Tiki, but is such a mainstay, it has been officially adopted by the culture. Lets drink some Daiquiris and forget all our problems.
 

THURSDAY 3/5 - HAWAIIAN COCKTAILS
Set Sail for the big Island with a stop off all over the state to discover Tiki Cocktails that originated In Hawaii. Mahalo
THURSDAY 3/12 - CARIBBEAN COCKTAILS
Ahoy and away to the land of pirates and rum. What did those pirates add to their rums? Lets Discuss.
THURSDAY 3/19 - PRE TIKI - ARG!
Some Cocktails have been adopted by tiki despite being much older than the movement. ARG!
THURSDAY 3/26 - CAPTAINS CHOICE
Sometimes we sail with a map. Other times we just follow a star. Where will this Class take us? Only the tides know.
