Tie With Tempo Weekend - Sunday Class
The Presenter:
Tempo (He/Him) is a traveling top who has visited different communities and different countries to learn from the resident experts and masters of different journeys of kink. He takes what he learns to bring back to his present home community in Boise, ID, where he hosts Boise Rope Jam. He primarily seeks out rope instructors to help guide him on his journey for rope mastery. True to his name, much of his play involves weaving music into his scenes.
Whether it is occupational- or kink-related, his true calling is teaching. Outside the kink community, Tempo teaches for a regionally accredited college, supervises and trains instructors, and manages the school s curriculum. Inside the community, he is often found serving whatever city he finds himself in as an instructor, a volunteer, a dungeon monitor, medical staff, or consent incident responder.
Cost: $80 per couple, maximum 8 couples, 1 x couple scholarship available for people with financial hardship and/or from marginalized communities.
Skills Prerequisite for tops: Able to tie a non-cinching single column knot and suspension-worthy harnesses, which will be inspected before suspension by Tempo.

Materials Needed: Students are encouraged to bring a safe cutting device, at least eight (8) piece rope at least 20-30ft long, and applicable rated rigging hardware (ring, carabiners, plate, straps, etc.). Also suggested is a mat or blanket for sitting on the concrete floor.
Day 2 Schedule: 9am-6pm (1hr lunch)
Upline: You and Me - First, we developed good foundations in rope bondage. Second, we created solid harnesses and found the joys of floor work. This class is the first class of ROPE 300 series, partials and static suspension, where we start to move from the ground to the air. This class will cover attachment points, lock-offs, upline management techniques, and rigging gear. This class is designed for people who are starting suspension and can offer a useful perspective for established riggers.
Lab Time - This is a time to practice the things that were learned and to get individualized help from the instructor.
Capstone - Over this course, you have learned how to tie, risks, safety, anatomy, positions, and uplines. This segment is about putting all of what you learned together. Regardless of your aptitude in rope bondage, I hope that these skills will help deepen the connection with your partner.
