ThursGay Happy Hour!

Announcing our newest type of Meetup - a recurring Meetup at the same place, day and time each week. We also have monthly Meetups at various locations around town, but this will give you a chance to meet and/or catch up with friends on a more frequent basis.

We have chosen Thursdays from 5 to 7 pm as the day and time and the bar at UNO’s Pizzeria in Winter Garden near the intersection of 429 and 535 as the location of our ThursGay events. UNO’s has a great Happy Hour with all well drinks and some draft beers for $3, house wines for $4, several other mixed drinks for $5 and all appetizers except flatbread are half priced! This includes spring rolls, several types of dips with chips, chicken quesadillas, pizza skins, chicken wings or bites and several others. The booths in the bar area are reserved for diners but the bar itself plus a lounge area with low tables and arm chairs are available for bar patrons.

David and I will not be attending all ThursGays, but the Meetup app will automatically show us as attending since we set up the Meetups. We will indicate in the last line of the text whether we are actually planning to attend a particular ThursGay. We ask that the rest of you please keep your RSVPs current and cancel them timely if you can’t attend so folks deciding whether to go will have a good idea as to who to look for and how many people will be attending.
