Thursday Sewing Spring 2020 - 8 to 11 years - Graduate Hospital Studio - Philadelphia, PA 2020

We give 8-11 year olds the skills they need to bring fabric to life. In addition to learning how to thread and operate a sewing machine with complete independence, students learn advanced skills like how to insert zippers, topstitching, working with linings and sewing curved seams. Projects for this age group have included backpacks, simple garments, lunch boxes, accessories, stuffed animals and much more. After-school pickup available from TPS, Chester Arthur, ICS and Greenfield. Dates: 7 Thursdays on Apr 2 Apr 23, Apr 30, May 7, May 14, May 21 & May 28. This session skips Apr 9 for Spring Break & Apr 16 for public school half-days due to parent-teacher conferences.
