Saturday, April 15th

1-4:00pm, $50.00

Securing Funding for Your World Changing Creative Project

One of the most difficult aspects of doing creative work for the social good is identifying funding sources.  Filmmaker Lisa Russell who has developed a career as a working filmmaker will share her insights on how to secure funding for your project - whether its your first or your 50th.  She will share the steps a creative advocate needs to take to submit projects for UN funding, how to present a well drafted proposal and a special treat - she will give each participant a copy of an Request for Proposal she won...along with her winning proposal and budget.  You will walk away with more resources about funding than you could read in a book or on a blog

For questions or more information, contact Lisa Russell at lisa@lisarussellfilms.com.

"Lisa Russell is a phenomenal speaker and inspirational role model for these students who want to emulate her and combine filmmaking/media with social justice issues/causes. As usual, she attracts an enthusiastic large group that wants to speak with her individually after the plenary."
