The Kennedy Forum Mind Matters Speaker Series

Please join us for The Kennedy Forum's "Mind Matters" Speaker Series, which will host experts and celebrities, business leaders and authors, sports professionals and academics. We will lift up people with lived experience.  We will address issues of mental health and addiction from provocative, interesting perspectives.  

For our first Mind Matters, we are honored to welcome Chicago Sun-Times Columnist Neil Steinberg on Wednesday, Aug. 2 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Ocean Cut, 20 W. Kinzie, Chicago. Mr. Steinberg has written for Esquire, Rolling Stone and the Washington Post, to name a few. Author of eight books and co-author of the most recent, "Out of the Wreck I Rise: A Literary Companion to Recovery", Mr. Steinberg has written and presented extensively about on his own experiences with recovery. 

We are offering inaugural discounts; individual tickets are $25 and memberships are half off now through Aug. 2 (after that pricing increases). General Admission is $25 (regularly $45). 1. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Chicago's Ocean Cut restaurant is located at 20 W. Kinzie in downtown Chicago, which is easily accessible via public transportation. Metered street parking and nearby parking garages are also options.
