WallByrd Theatre Company Presents Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" April 21st-30th at the Lyric Theater in Rochester NY.
To escape the monotony of life, John "Jack" Worthing and friend Algernon "Algy" Moncrieff are not above bending the truth in the name of good fun (and proper etiquette). Adopting an alter-ego named Earnest, they attempt to win the love of two ladies who have their own hearts set on marrying a man named Earnest. Misadventure is quick to follow. Jack and Algy become entangled in a web of white lies, disguises, and the absurdity of Victorian sensibilities.
Tickets available at $20 general admission. Student tickets available day-of only at $15 (space permitting.)
