Join us to hear Frederick Ilchman, Melissa Conn, and Karen Wilkin in conversation about "The Art and Science of Saving Venice" as part of the Studio School's Evening Lecture Series. All Evening Lectures begin at 6:30pm and are free and open to the public.

Frederick Ilchman, a specialist in the art of Venice, has been a curator at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, since 2001. His exhibitions include Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese: Rivals in Renaissance Venice (2009) and Goya: Order and Disorder (2014), which the Wall Street Journal selected as one of the year's best. He also is Chairman of Save Venice Inc., which preserves the art and architecture of Venice.

Karen Wilkin is an independent curator and critic, a regular contributor to New Criterion, the Wall Street Journal, and Hudson Review. She teaches the NY Studio School's MFA art history seminars. 

Melissa Conn is the director of the Venice office of Save Venice Inc., an American non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for the conservation of art and architecture in Venice, Italy. With twenty-eight years of experience in the field of Venetian art history and restoration, Ms. Conn oversees Save Venice conservation projects in Venice, and lectures in Italy and the United States on Save Venice's activities.
