The Amazing Escape Room Fundraising Event
A Life for Brian and the Hansen Foundation invite you to a day of challenging fun to play and give back at the same time. The Amazing Escape Room offers five rooms each with a different theme and level of challenge. Tickets are $30 per person, and you must purchase tickets for this event in advance. Tickets are for Tuesday 2/21/17.
How it works
Groups of up to 10-12 will work together to solve problems, uncover clues, and crack codes in order to progress as a team. You and your team have 60 minutes to escape the room. Each room has a storyline that you’ll be introduced to upon entering, along with basic instructions on what you’ll need to uncover to escape. A Game Master will be watching you via camera to assist with hints if your group gets stuck at any point. The Amazing Escape Room is for people of all ages and skill sets. You do not need to have any special knowledge to solve the puzzles and riddles. Just be creative and curious! You and your team have 60 minutes to escape from a locked room. THE MANOR You’ve made a grave mistake by entering Ehrlich’s dimly lit home. The family has been cursed by his Uncle, who brought an ancient Chinese Relic into his house, damming anyone who enters. Ehrlich can ONLY hold him back for an hour longer. We beg of you, rid this Phantom from their home!
THE PIRATE SHIP Avast, Mateys! The infamous pirate captain, David S. Calabaza, thinks that you and your fellow crew members have stolen his gold and he has thrown you all in the hold. Now you must secretly find where the actual thief has hidden the gold and return it to Captain Calabaza before he has you thrown overboard into the briny deep. But be quick, Captain Calabaza will return in 60 minutes, and you could end up in Davy Jones’ Locker!
THE ILLUSIONIST The Mysterious Malini is one of the greatest magicians of his time. You and your group of aspiring magicians were supposed to be attending The Mysterious Malini’s latest performance but you stumbled into his private parlor and discovered that he is a murderer. He has locked you in the parlor and you now have only 60 min’s until the performance ends and he returns to make you vanish forever.
THE LABORATORY Help!! Someone has poisoned the Swedish Prime Minister and they only have an hour to live. There is hope though for the Prime Minister . Hidden in the Lab are all the necessary steps to make an antidote to save the Prime Minister. If you can solve the clues, puzzled and tricks and find that antidote in under an hour, you will be the envy of a nation. However, if you don’t make it out of the lab in time, you’d better get a shovel and a passport. Good Luck!! This fun theme is recommended for ages 8 to 80. This is the easiest option.
NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM An F5 tornado is in route to hit the NEW JERSEY ART History Museum. You have 60 minutes to secure important historical artifacts and make it to the tornado shelter in time. Can you escape in 60 minutes or less? This is the most difficult option.
