The Agape Blues Company Returning to the Alabaster Jar

The Alabaster Jar invites you to join them for a time of fellowship as they welcome back the Agape Blues Company. Come out for a unique and uplifting version of "Blues with a Message" as the music of the Agape Blues Company makes you want to dance and shout! The Agape Blues Company takes the Blues from lowly to uplifting; from sorrowful to joyful. The Agape Blues Company will be with us the 4th Saturday of each month unless otherwise posted.

The Alabaster Jar provides a cafe' like atmosphere with good food & drink, good fellowship, and great music from local musicians. Come as you are to a place that welcomes you with the love of Jesus! Stop in and grab a light meal, soda, coffee, or tea. The folks at The Alabaster Jar appreciate the opportunity to serve you in an informal atmosphere where you can meet other believers, sit back and relax, and have a place to go to get away from the busyness of the week. 

The goal of the Alabaster Jar is to provide a place where folks from the surrounding churches can come out to meet each other and build a sense of community regardless of the church attended. They also desire that The Alabaster Jar become a beachhead to reach those in the community that need to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. For those that may not be inclined to head to a church, they may find this a safe, non-threatening environment to begin their journey. Invite a friend knowing full well that they will be in a non-pressure, safe place. If you need a friend, please stop by; you'll be sure to find one.

There is no cost for this event, but an offering basket will be available for you to support The Alabaster Jar as God uses them in brining about a community transformation in the Albany area.
