Startup Weekend Conejo Valley will take place at Hub101 in Westlake Village, CA. The event starts on Friday, March 29. Attendees with startup ideas will have 60 seconds each to pitch them. The idea should be new, with no prior work done. The idea you pitch and the problem you set out to solve can span social, educational, financial, technological, environmental, or other issues.

Participants then vote on the most interesting ideas and form teams.

Over the course of the weekend, the team, with the help of mentors and seasoned entrepreneurs, will be challenged to create a prototype that fits the needs of its target customer. By Sunday, teams will be ready to present the work done on their ideas before a panel of judges.
