Bernard Aschwanden, a prolific presenter and past president of the Society for Technical Communication (STC), will visit Northeast Ohio on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Aschwanden will provide NEO STC in-person and several online STC communities with a full-day seminar, titled “Technical Communication 2020 – Forget hindsight, look ahead.”

For those who have attended Bernard’s presentations, you can expect humor, insight, and useful knowledge wrapped in his proficient teaching abilities.
Aschwanden, president of Publishing Smarter and an Associate Fellow of the Toronto STC community, will kick off the day at 9 a.m. with “Building a Business” in challenging economic times. Presentations follow on “Project Management and Tech Comm.” The afternoon features a hands-on “modern toolkit” to hone one’s software skillset with tech-savvy “tricks and tips” to put into daily practice right away.
Devore Technologies, a modern computer teaching and web-development facility in Beachwood, OH, will host the event. Cost is only $50 per STC member and $195 for non-STC members.
