Tech Morning @ Cisco (Ages 10-15 years)

Ever wonder what its like to work in a Fortune 500 company that's also ranked as top 100 place to work in? Girls in Tech - Dallas chapter is delighted to partner with Cisco to enable 50 young girls to look into what it's like to work in a tech company as well as talk to an engineer about their career goals. 

Calling all girls between the ages of 10-15 (we're flexible), to join us for a fun science summer program morning at Cisco. They will be able to learn from Girls in Tech and Cisco mentors, talk about their goals and aspirations, ask questions about a career in STEM, and perform hands-on activities. 

Suitable for ages 10-15 , limited to 50 attendees.

9.30am:    Drop off at the lobby of building 6 and attendee check in

10.00am:  Program begins 

10.30-12nn: Variety of activities including lab tours, hands on activities and mentorship sessions

1. STEM presentation

2. Lab tours

3. Rasberry-Pi robot challenge

4. Make a cable workshop

5. Speed Mentoring over Pizza

12-1pm:    Lunch and pickup at 12.45pm
