Tea and Language Exchange - English and Mandarin

Join us for this primarily social event held every week. I host this group for people that want to increase their practice of English or Mandarin. It is NOT a requirement that you speak Mandarin. We get people wanting to practice their English, people wanting to practice Mandarin, but mostly everyone comes to socialize with the great members of this group.

We usually have 20 to 40 people attend every week. Most attendees regular attendees come from another Meetup group for which I post this event. Very friendly people, Don t worry about coming by yourself. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful.

I m there every week, so if you have some real estate questions and want to ask them in a very relaxed setting, you are welcome to attend.

The event is held at a tea house in San Gabriel. Boba, many other kinds of tea and food are available. The management asks that you order at least one tea item since they provide the weekly Meetup space for us.

*** Parking: There s a small parking lot behind the tea shop, but it can fill up quickly. There is also plenty of parking in the shopping center right next door. If you park in the street, make sure to check the parking signs for restrictions.

No matter what time you come you ll find some members there at the tables. Because it is so fun, many members are there for 3 hours or more. You don t have to be there at 6:45 pm exactly, and you don t have to stay until everyone leaves. You come when you want, leave when you want. Just make sure to RSVP so I know how many tables to reserve.
