TDMHSAS 2019 Provider Training - East TN

This training is designed to enhance providers’ knowledge of applicable rules and regulations and give providers the ability to network with one another.

The sessions will include speakers from Disability Rights Tennessee, local Fire Safety & Prevention, State Managed Care Organizations and TDMHSAS Office of Licensure.

The forum will be divided into one and half hour long sessions. Registration will be open all day to allow participants to only attend session(s) you are interested in. Licensure is recommending that you specifically look at the different topics that is applicable to your individual agency. If you have questions on when would be the best time(s) for you to attend, please contact the East TN Licensure Office (865-594-6551).

*This training shall qualify for your annual training as required by TDMHSAS Licensure.

Lunch will not be provided. Please plan accordingly.

AGENDA:

Session 1

8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Personal Support Services Agency – Participants will be hearing from representatives with the State Managed Care Organizations & TDMHSAS to discuss Critical Incident Reporting. TDMHSAS will also discuss financial obligations in Chapter 6 that are specific to PSSAs and Title 33.

Session 2

10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. MAT (OBOT changes, OBOT+ overview & OTP Best Practices)

Session 3

12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Chapter 6 (Minimum Program Requirements for All Services & Facilities), Title 33 requirements & Incident Reporting

Session 4

2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Participants will hear about Disability Rights and Fire Safety. TDMHSAS will also discuss life safety and environmental issues.
