Taste of Japan -Japanese inspired Filipino Kamayan Experience-

Please join us for one night event only --Taste of Japan-- at TATANG.

This dinner experience will allow one to be immersed in eating the traditional way you would in the Philippines combined with inspirations of Japanese cuisine: A gathering around a table with banana leaves and food shared family style where we proudly eat with our hands, and share with our hearts.

Excited to bring to you this cross-cultural meal journey are Pilipinx owned business: TATANG. Chiho, the co-owner of the TATANG is born & raised in Japan and has been wanting to throw Japanese inspired menu for one night.

Ticket purchases will be required for this intimate seated event.

The event will consist of one seating time for the duration of 8:30pm-10pm time slot. Upon purchase, a thumbnail of a long single table layout will be shown to let attendees understand that it will be community style seating. Please disregard the assigned seat number that Eventbrite automatically set with your ticket.

We will reach out before the event to those who purchased seats for 2 or more people so that you and your party will be seated together.

Drinks/Beverages: Purchase through Eventbrite (1 beer ) to get Happy Hour prices on Filipino Beers and Japanese Iichiko Shochu Cocktails.

TATANG: Chef Jamby Roi Martin's restaurant is deeply rooted in the concept of family. The word, TATANG, is loosely translated to meaning FATHER (old man, dad, papa). It is the treasured name J.R.'s entire clan called his grandfather. J.R. grew up eating food created not only by Tatang but by all the other children in his family as well.
