In this class, we re making Fresh Vietnamese Spring Rolls which Marlene learned to make in Hanoi many years ago. We re pairing with Nuoc Nam Cham, the versatile dipping sauce that goes perfectly not only with the spring rolls, but other dishes as well. For the main course, we re making a Chicken Mango Coconut curry inspired by dishes Marlene grew up with in the Philippines. You ll learn about new ingredients, how to use and where to find them so you can start building your Asian pantry. As with most Southeast Asian cuisine, this menu is naturally gluten-free.

How this works:

• 2 ticket types are available: Participant- $25 (interactive access) and Audience- $5 (observer with limited access) see below for more info*

• Classes are 1 1/2 to 2 hours

• 10 minute Q&A at end of class for Audience questions.

• Each class is a password-protected Zoom session. You ll receive an email with Zoom info 24 hours prior to your class along with your menu/ingredients/gadgets reminder. This is an automated email so make sure to check your spam folder. If you did not receive the info, it is your responsibility to call us at least 6 hours before class for a re-send. • Participants and Audience will receive recipes 24 hours before class for reference (we will not use recipes during class), included in the Zoom room email above.

Ticket types

Participant: Cook and be guided with interactive access. Participants may ask questions at any time while we’re cooking. Limited slots are available so that Marlene can monitor participant progress

Audience: If you just want to watch or cook silently along with us, be part of our Audience for a reduced ticket price. Although we won’t see or hear you, you’ll be able to check out what we’re doing and even cook along. There is a possibility your questions via chat can be answered at the end of class if it’s chosen for the 10 minute Q&A.
