Join us to view the solar eclipse at PSCC Blount County Campus.
Noon​ to 3:00pm we will have live streaming of a balloon launch, educational speakers, family activities, food trucks will be available, and more. The event is free and parking spaces are limited. Free glasses will be given in order to view the 2 minute solar eclipse. Please bring lawn chairs, blankets and sunscreen. No alcohol is allowed.

Curious to know what the eclipse might look like where you are or will be on August 21? The University of California at Berkeley has teamed up with Google to create a simulator as part of the Eclipse Megamovie project. If you plan to photograph the eclipse (do it safely!) you might be interested in the project as well.
