Sustainable DIY: Playdough & Dino Eggs!

In an effort to reduce the amount of waste we generate while still having fun and educational options for kids, enjoy creating homemade playdough and dinosaur eggs! We will be repurposing, or even eliminating single-use plastics associated with these items. Families will learn about the impact of plastics on the environment as we read a story about the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling.  

Appropriate for families with children ages 3 and up.

Please bring 2 empty 8 oz. or larger containers with lids for your homemade playdough and dinosaur egg. All other materials will be provided.

Duke Farms is a leader of environmental stewardship, and we hope to offer some tools and tips to lead a “greener” lifestyle.

Our personal commitment to protecting the earth, fighting climate change, and building a sustainable future empowers us to join forces with Earth Day Network to spread awareness, educate, and spark change. The world needs you and your actions to protect and restore the planet!

We offer diverse program opportunities for anyone to learn and get involved in building towards a more sustainable future. All classes that fall under our Earth Celebration will sport the yellow, circular Earth logo.
