Supervisory Training Boot Camp (Quarter 1)

This training is designed to give supervisors the essential knowledge needed to lead others in the workplace with confidence.

Supervisor Training Boot Camp consists of two half-day sessions.

Session 1: Wed., February 19, 2020, 8:00AM – 12:00PM CST

Session 2: Wed., February 26, 2020, 8:00AM – 12:00PM CST

*The cost includes both sessions and participants must be in attendance on each day.

Course Description:

Participants will earn their stars while they explore basic employment laws and learn what compliance with those laws looks like from a practical standpoint. Some of the topics included are:

About the Presenter: Randy Ardis, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Randy is a seasoned HR Professional with 26 years of exempt-level experience in the fields of construction, manufacturing, telecommunications, entertainment, and service industries. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in HR Management from Winthrop University. He is certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP.)

Highly experienced in the areas of Employee Relations, Staffing & Recruiting, and Training, Randy’s focused work in these areas has brought about significant changes in environments where turnover was high and employee engagement was low. By using creative solutions in employee selection, coaching, onboarding, employee recognition, and data analysis he has helped lead culture changes in very challenging work environments.

Randy hopes to deliver relevant and timely training today to help improve a variety of aspects within your organization.

Randy is active in the Greater Pensacola Society for Human Resources Management where he currently serves as President-Elect. He is a member of the Pensacola Chamber’s HR Managers’ Roundtable where he has served as a past Chairperson. Other posts include serving as a member of: the Northwest Florida Manufacturers Council, the Central Gulf Coast Industrial Alliance and their Workforce Development Team, and the Northwest Florida Skilled Technician Talent Supply Task Force.

Randy has been a Florida resident just over ten years and has spent most of his life in the Southeastern United States. He is married with two teenage children, enjoys traveling with his family, and active with local Mardi Gras krewes. He serves as a mentor for Junior Achievement of Northwest Florida. Other charitable work includes devoting time to cancer awareness organizations and United Cerebral Palsy.
