Supervisor Training Module 7: Leading High Performing Teams - Only City of Detroit Managers and Supervisors (Online Training)

The Supervisor Training Program is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to effectively supervise and manage employees.  The program centers on the value of effective supervision and improves the participants’ ability to lead and motivate others.

Module 7: It is often said that people join organizations, but they leave managers. You may have the right people and a great plan, but it takes a leader with specific behaviors and skills to consistently motivate a team to work together, improve performance and achieve success through different stages of development.

This course will help you truly understand the many facets of team leadership you can use to build and inspire a group of people to become a cohesive and high performing team.

Registration is required  48 hours before the class in order to receive access and course materials.

*Participants can earn .4 CEU's per 4-hour course.

Participants must:

• Arrive on time and sign in.
• Participate in each activity.
