Join our NBNC youth and teen birding team on our annual migration to New England's premier winter birding compedition! In this 12-hour race to identify as many species as possible, we'll scour the coastlines of New Hampshire and Massachusetts searching for rare birds like Razorbill, King Eider, and Snowy Owl.
This competition, hosted by Mass Audubon's Joppa Flatts Education Center, ranks species based on difficulty and assigns points accordingly (i.e. one point for a chickadee and five points for an albatross). Past NBNC’s youth and young ***** teams have tallied nearly 100 species in this winter adventure. Beginner birdwatchers and naturalists welcome.
Trip leaves from NBNC at 4:00 PM on Friday and returns late on Saturday night. Price includes all lodging, transportation, and registration fees.
