Sunday, Fun Day, Run Day & Brunch!!!

It s Sunday, the last day of the weekend, so before we get to the Monday morning weekly grind, let s have a little fun. This event is a traveling, bi-weekly meetup that will meet at 9 and take at 9:10am. Meaning every two weeks, we ll run & eat at a new place. The minimum distance will always be 3.1 miles. However, I encourage everyone to run whatever distance you are comfortable running and at your own pace. It was easier for me to make this a repeating event with the same information, so please check back a few days before the next event for any changes.

For our first run/brunch meetup, we will be running the Trolley Trail in Ellicott City. The route is an out and back up the Trolley Trail with a distance of little over 3.1 miles. The route also is a paved trail and runs mostly alongside Cooper Branch River towards Edmonson Ave. Once you ve reached Edmonson Ave (the halfway point), turn around & run back towards the start. Oh... and did I mention that the first part of the run is uphill? There is no specific pace for this meetup, so please run at the speed that you feel most comfortable. It may be cold, so please wear layers, and don t forget to bring enough water to hydrate. If Parking Lot B happens to be full, there is parking in "Lot-C, Ellicott City, MD 21043" right behind the B&O Ellicott City Station Museum & in "Lot-A, Oella, MD 21043" near the Trolley Shop. Both of these lots are within 2 - 5 mins walking distance of the meetup spot.

OPTIONAL: Afterward, let s hang out, get to know each other, make new friends over some food at Georgia Grace Cafe, also know as Gg s Cafe. It s located at 8006 Main Street, Ellicott City, MD 21043, right next to and walking distance from where we ll begin our run.
