Babies can benefit in many ways from the nurturing touch of massage. Studies suggest that beyond the relaxation infant massage brings, it can also lead to increased weight gain and improved sleep. The FamilyPlace offers this hands-on infant massage class for parents and their newborns up to six months of age.
Instructions: Bring a blanket for the baby.
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Cost: Free if your child is a NICU Graduate of Summerlin Hospital; $10 for others
