Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley continues “Study in the Summer,” with beginning Hebrew reading for adults, taught by Rabbi Shelley Kniaz, the shul’s director of congregational learning. The program is for anyone who has never learned to read Hebrew or could use a refresher course. It meets on Mondays through August 26, at 5 p.m., at the Woodcliff Lake shul. Students must buy the textbook; it can be downloaded and printed. Registration is required; email rabbikniaz@tepv.org.
