Can you imagine what life was like as a settler in Vermont in the 18th century?
Join us for a week at Shelburne Museum as we travel back in time and learn about everyday life in Vermont in 1795. Our group will "live" at the Settler's House, cooking meals on an open hearth, keeping a proper house, and tending the garden. We will also visit museum galleries and historic buildings to investigate art and artifacts of the United States' early years. As a special treat, on Thursday, June 29th, campers will sleep over at Settler's Barn to experience an old-fashioned night of camp fires, stories, songs and fun!
This camp is designed for children ages 8-10 years. It will take place daily between 9:00am-3:00pm, except on Friday, June 30th, when children will be dismissed from camp at 12:00pm.
