We are Stronger Together! Tips for optimizing teamwork

For most people, teamwork is a part of everyday life. Whether it’s at home, in the community, or at work, people are often expected to be a functional part of a performing team. This energizing two-hour class presents the elements of high-performing teams and offers tips to overcome barriers. The instructor showcases ways for participants to explore where their own teams might improve and what they can do to become a better team member.

Learning Objectives:

• Identify individual strengths and vulnerabilities for working cooperatively with others
• Learn how to better contribute to groups with ideas, suggestions, and effort
• Demonstrate a heightened sense of respect for differing opinions
• Improve participation in group decision-making
