Stout Beer Cocktail Competition

We are changing up the format of the competitions in order to promote fairness.

There will be 2 parts to this competition. 

(If you have ended up on this page and do not intend on being a competitor, please do not reserve a ticket. Tickets are not required for event attendees, they are for competitors only.)

Please arrive by 7pm. Repeat. 7pm. You will need to bring any ingredients for your drink that we do not stock. if you have questions about what we carry please message us on Facebook or call the bar during business hours. Everything on our shelves is up for grabs. Otherwise, bring enough of your own ingredients to make at least 8 drinks. The only requirement for your drink is that it contains at least 1oz of a stout beer of your choice.

At 7:30pm, all contestants will be hidden from the bar in the server station by a privacy wall. You will take turns submitting your drinks to the judges for review blindly.

The drinks will be delivered by someone outside of the group of contestants. The only thing we will relay to the judges are the ingredients in your drink. This way, you will be judged by the taste and presentation of your cocktail alone.

At 9pm, the competion will officially start for crowd favorite. the judgement for the winner will already be complete at this time. One by one our MC will call you up to the bar where you will make 4 of your drinks which will be portioned out into sample cups (at least 40 samples) for our patrons. At this point feel free to put your skills on display for everyone and have some fun. Once everyone has had their time we will tally the votes from the crowd and announce the winner and the crowd favorite.
