Fresh off of winning our 2019 First Novel Prize for In West Mills, a “tender, exuberant, and impressively crafted debut” (Kirkus Review), De’Shawn Charles Winslow returns to The Center for Fiction for Story/Teller.
Actor André Holland (Moonlight, The Knick); and playwright, musician, and actor Eisa Davis (Bulrusher, a finalist for Pulitzer Prize in Drama, Angela’s Mixtape) will perform dramatic readings of excerpts from In West Mills, followed by a discussion between the three storytellers on craft.
