Storm Drain Marking Volunteer Event

Did you know that the water that enters storm drains does not get filtered?! Everything that enters the drain eventually ends up in our rivers and streams.

Storm drain markers are a great reminder to never dump anything down our drains because it leads to our streams.

Join us as we place storm drain markers around East Salem and remind our neighbors to help keep our water safe and clean.

We will be meeting at Stephens Middle School and walking the neighborhood applying markers along the sidewalk and placing door hangers throughout the community. We ask that you wear close toed shoes, appropriate clothing and bring water. Drain markers, adhesive, vests and gloves will be provided.
