STOP Foodborne Illness, the national nonprofit public health organization dedicated to prevention of illness and death from foodborne pathogens, will host its annual benefit in Chicago on Wednesday, August 10. The fundraising event will be held in the taproom of the new Dovetail Brewery, a unique craft brewery that has earned nationwide accolades for its authentic German and Belgian-style beers. Dovetail Brewery is located at 1800 W. Belle Plaine (at North Ravenswood) in Chicago.

 

Join STOP Foodborne Illness at 6:30 p.m., August 10 to network, socialize and raise awareness about food safety. An $85 donation includes Dovetail’s sublime beer accompanied by light appetizers, and a great opportunity to help STOP Foodborne Illness. Live jazz will be performed by contemporary jazz guitarist Lee Alec Barrie.

Dovetail Brewery (1800 W. Belle Plaine Ave, Chicago; 773-683-1414 is Chicago's newest craft brewery. Certified master brewers Hagen Dost and Bill Wesselink have generously opened their brewery to STOP Foodborne Illness for this benefit.  Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

      Must be 21 or older to be served but not to attend.

 

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

     Complimentary parking in lot adjacent to brewery.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

     No, but at-the-door registration will be faster if you have it.

 

What is the refund policy?

     You must cancel 48 hours in advance to receive a refund (minus processing charges).

 

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

     Yes.
