PROGRAM INFORMATION This course is open to students at least 16 years of age (15 years old with Sweetwater approval). Students must be able to complete the following unaided in order to enroll in the class: 1. Swim at least 12 continuous lengths (300 yards) of a 25-yard pool, 2. Be able to retrieve a 10lb brick from the bottom and swim it across the pool 3. Tread water for 2 minutes without using your hands A fee of $300 is charged to cover the cost of books, materials, and instruction. As a Sweetwater Employee, you are entitled to a $300 discount by using the Coupon Code provided to you during your interview. If you do not use the Coupon Code by its expiration date, Staffing will give you a new Coupon Code for $275 off. You will be responsible for the $25 fee. Once registered for the class you will be registered for the online class and be sent the StarGuard E-Book. This course is taught as a blended learning. You will be required to complete all the book work online and pass the online test by midnight before your class starts.
