Our third year! Stand Against Child Abuse Conference (SACAC) is a gathering of professionals who respond to child abuse or who work with children. The conference offers a platform to learn, share ideas and build connections with diverse plenary sessions, case studies and 90 minute break-out sessions. SACAC provides educational opportunities from a variety of national and regional experts involved in child abuse response with respect to: investigations, law enforcement perspectives, medical/mental health responses, legal perspectives, child protection, cultural considerations, advocacy, forensic interviewing and multi-disciplinary response. Since many of our attendees are coming from rural areas, there will be presentations that focus on the dynamics within small communities.
