St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church invites local elementary students to spend a week this summer with "St. Liz Kidz!"

This 4-day evening camp will include Christian-themed arts & crafts, Montessori-based "Godly Play," outdoor games, music and more. The theme for the week is "In the Beginning" -- sharing some of the Bible's most colorful, inspirational and harrowing stories: Creation, Noah, The Great Family (Abraham & Sarah), and Jonah!

Camp is held each day -- June 17, 18, 19, 20 -- from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m

  • St. Liz Kidz is for elementary-age children -- those entering kindergarten through 5th grade beginning August 2019.

  • There is no cost to be part of "St. Liz Kidz," but space is limited.

  • The deadline for registration is June 16, though spaces may fill up before then.

  • Participants should commit to attending every day.

  • Water will be given out, but snacks and dinner are not provided or allowed (there will not be time set aside for snacks, even if brought from home).

  • Your Eventbrite "purchase" form should be filled out with a parent/guardian's information. Once registered, you will be contacted by St. Elizabeth and asked to fill-out a registration form for your child(ren) which will include information such as emergency contact.

FAQs

What ages can attend St. Liz Kidz?

St. Liz Kidz is for elementary school-aged children who are entering kindergarten through 5th grade beginning August 2019.

Do I need to be a member of St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church (or any church for that matter!) to attend?

Most certainly not! This camp welcomes all children and families in our community who wish to participate.

Do I need to sign my child in or do I drop them off?

On Monday, parents or guardians should park outside of St. Elizabeth's Mission Hall and walk their child to the registration table. (** It is recommended that you arrive 10-15 minutes early on the first night, if possible, to account for sign in. **)

There, you will turn in your registration form (or fill out a new one if you've forgotten it), and your child can sign-in and pick-up his/her camp lanyard and name tag. They'll then join their fellow St. Liz Kidz for a music assembly to start the evening, and we'll see you back at 8:00 p.m.

Children can be dropped off outside of the Mission Hall for the rest of the week, and they'll be welcomed inside by our volunteers. (Please be on time!)

We will be sure to have greeters outside directing traffic and available to answer your questions each night.

Do I have to bring my Eventbrite "ticket" to the event?

Yes, please bring a printout of your Eventbrite ticket/confirmation on Monday evening, as well as the completed registration form for your child(ren). If you forget the registration form, we'll have extras on-hand to fill-out in person (though this will delay your child's opporunity to start the evening music assembly with the other participants).

Can I update my registration information?

Yes. If you need to update information for any reason, please email: events@st-liz.org

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

No, spaces cannot be transferred. If you need to withdraw from the camp, please email: events@st-liz.org. Opening up your space will give another child a chance to be part of this fun-filled week!

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

No, your registration is specific to the child who is attending.

What should participants wear?

This is an active, fun-filled camp, so children should come dressed to move, dance, jump and run. Closed-toed shoes are especially recommended!

Who is "staffing" St. Liz Kidz?

We have an amazing team of volunteers from St. Elizabeth -- adults and teens -- who will make this a week to remember! There will always be at least two adults with a child or group to ensure everyone is safe, accounted for, and having fun!

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Please don't hesitate to contact us at: events@st-liz.org with any questions, concerns or needs. You can also call St. Elizabeth's directly at (512) 295-3674 and leave a message if your call is not immediately answered.
