Spring Peepers and Other Creepers
Join Visitor Education Associate, Von Scully, and Ecological Research Manager, Charles Barreca,for a messy evening of observations and investigations.
Slog* for frogs and learn about wildlife that becomes more active as the sun goes down. Discover how vernal pools provide habitat for distinct plants and animals and how we can all do out part to maintain these unique systems.
The session will begin in the classroom followed by time outside for field exploration. Participants are asked to wear clothing appropriate for the weather including boots for very muddy areas. Flashlights and/or head lamps are suggested.
Appropriate for families with children ages 8+.
