Join Karen Clark-Stone, RN, MSN, for a series of practice sessions of Spring Forest Qigong. Karen is a Certified Level One and Level Two Spring Forest Qigong Instructor and Spring Forest Qigong Healer. Weekly attendance is not required but is recommended to obtain maximum benefit. Please arrive by 6:50pm.
Spring Forest Qigong (pronounced "chee gong") is a simple, efficient, and effective method for helping you experience your optimal health, wellness, and happiness; heal physical and emotional pain; and enhance the quality of your life and the lives of others. SFQ is comprised of four parts that all work together:
• Breathing
• Gentle movements (active exercises)*
• Mental focus
• Sound
These gentle exercises can be done seated, standing, or even lying down. Along with instructor guidance, we will use Master Lin’s 'Active Exercises' to guide our 40-minute practice, followed by a 30-35 minute seated meditation using Master Lin’s 'Small Universe' meditation.
Ask questions, share experiences, give and receive support, and even have a bit of fun!
Wear comfortable clothes. Recommended donation $10.00/ session. This is a privately hosted event by Karen Clark-Stone. Let us know you are coming with an email to theCSE@theCSE.org. For more information 703-370-5386
