The White Ally Toolkit Initiative has trained thousands of people nationwide in its mission to increase the effectiveness of allies in being more persuasive with white folks who deny racism's reality.
The White Ally Toolkit:
August 18, 1:00pm - 4:30pm: Part 1 - Becoming a More Effective, Spiritually Grounded Anti-Racist Ally, teaches the core methods of the White Ally Toolkit contextualized in the context of spritual principles, and gives ample time for practice in using these conversational skills.
Location: 1st Christian Church, 602 SW Madison Ave, Corvallis
August 19, 6:30pm - 9:00pm: Part 2 - Going Deeper, Building Skills for Becoming a Better Anti-racism Ally, available only to graduates from any Part 1 White Ally Toolkit training), helps participants better understand their own personal challenges and opportunities on their journey to greater allyship, as well as provide practice time with conversational skills.
Location: Zen Center, 2935 NW Circle Blvd, Corvallis (next door to the Fellowship.)
