Today’s climatological, political, and social issues call upon us to be active. A century ago, Rudolf Steiner, like other progressive thinkers, recognized that the fate of the Earth was going to be determined by human actions, but Steiner went further: He taught that we also have a responsibility for the further development of the spiritual world. The growth and sustainability of Waldorf education and biodynamic agriculture are testaments to Steiner’s vision.
In tonight’s lecture, Eugene Schwartz, a student of anthroposophy for over 50 years who lectures internationally on Waldorf education, will describe some of Rudolf Steiner’s contemplative and meditative exercises, and explore the results of his spiritual activism.
