TICKETS REQUIRED through Eventbrite through the link below. RSVP does not secure a spot. There are only 24 total tickets available per event. Please ignore the numbers and genders of RSVPs since this is posted in many Meetup groups and many people buy a ticket without an RSVP. The events will always be full and equally balanced with men and women or they will be cancelled.

If there are no tickets available please follow the ticket link to put your name on a waiting list. People on the waitlist who have not been to one of these events will get first dibs on next event in their age group. Everyone on the waiting list can grab last minute spots that become available.

Hi all
Since my singles events aren t able to happen right now I thought I d try something else to keep you all connecting. I know single folks are hankering for ways to still find love while stuck at home so I thought I d try an online version of speed dating. And zoom could be an easy way to have a first date later if there is a match.
Here is how it will work
We will go between the big group and private dates. You will have about 10 private very short (about 4 minutes) video chats with the opposite gender in this age group - 50 s and 60 s. After each chat you will make a note if you are a YES to connecting with them in the future. After each date you will come back to the group and have a bit of guided interaction. People LOVED that part last night! Later you will send me your lists via email. I will go through all of the lists and figure out who are mutual matches. If there is a mutual match I will send out each person s email to the other.
If you get a mutual match I suggest scheduling your own private Zoom meeting right away. First date Zoom meetings turns out to to be a much more convenient way of a first meeting then in person. My guess is that zoom first dates will last way past sheltering in place.
If you have a distaste to speed dating or think that even the concept is ridiculous or even offensive, many people have met their matches this way and it might be worth a shot. And you get to meet 10 new people while staying in your living room.
