Special Screening: "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks"

Cancer cells were taken from Henrietta Lacks without her consent. Research with these cells led to hundreds of medical discoveries — including the polio vaccine. Her family fought to uncover the truth and changed how research is done. Watch the movie and hear from people involved in research right here in WNY!
