Newcomers are always welcome to visit our second or fourth Wednesday of the month meetings. Is improving your speaking skills one of your goals? Are you looking to develop leadership skills? Prepare for a book tour? Pitch your startup? Influence public policy? Meet others who are improving their skills by joining this all-volunteer non-profit organization.

We generally have 10-20 members and guests attending each meeting. We usually have 2-3 prepared speeches that last around 7 minutes each, followed by impromptu speaking opportunities. It s a lot of fun. Everyone is a volunteer- it s a local non-profit organization with deep roots in the community built over the past 15+ years. We have members from all walks of life. We often have guests join us. You are welcome to visit.

How Does It Work?

A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.
There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success.

Meeting participants also give impromptu talks, conduct meetings and develop skills related to timekeeping, grammar, and process.
