Join us for this informative, half-day event to learn more about the Department of Labor and Industry’s vision for the future of registered apprenticeship, workforce goals for Minnesota and building upon the best practices and successes of this time-tested, earn-as-you-learn model to ensure greater opportunity for all. We will explore the benefits of registered apprenticeship, hear from apprenticeship program sponsors and subject-matter experts, and participate in speed-networking to build community connections and partnership opportunities.
Registered apprentices are not just training for a job, they are building a career. Through structured on-the-job training and technical classroom instruction, apprentices learn industry-specific knowledge in high-demand fields while earning a valuable nationally recognized credential. Registered apprenticeship is a powerful employer strategy to recruit, train and retain a highly skilled, productive and diverse workforce.
Who: Educators, school counselors, workforce development professionals, community-based organizations, labor and employers seeking strategies and partnerships to develop a highly skilled and diverse workforce.
