Sacrament: Ceremony or Ritual, Imparting Divine Grace
All of life is vibration. In the womb we were immersed in waves of sonic energy… great vibrations from the heart-beat of our mother that came from everywhere- above, around and below. These vibrations helped to inform us, grow us, and enfold us in love and safety. In this musical Sacrament, you are invited to drop into stillness in the sonic vibrations of voice, crystal bowls, drums, rattles, guided visualization and original music with shamanic practitioner and professional singer Jennifer Grais.
Jennifer’s intention is to sanctify the space, to bless, to makewhole/holy…creating a harmonic environment in which one can clear blockages in the physical, emotional, and etheric bodies, allowing for restorative healing, and a blissful flow of inner wisdom. Jennifer calls in the love of the Universal Mother to bless our hearts, honor our losses, and create a safe and sacred container separate from the outer world, in which there is space for your spirit to be felt, honored and held.
Participants will need a soft mat to lie down on the floor, eye cover, and pillow.
Jennifer Grais is a graduate of the 3-year advanced program for Shamanic Healing taught by Michael Harner /the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. She studied energy healing in India at the Oneness University. She is also a professional singer/songwriter who toured with Jackson Browne. Her singing voice conveys tremendous emotion that allows for release and spontaneous healing. Jennifer is passionate about raising awareness both spiritually and environmentally through her singing, her teaching, and her sound healing work for groups and individuals. Her latest musical collaboration with drummer and Sound Healer, Byron Metcalf is the album, Sacrament, which is available as a cd, download, or streaming on Spotify.

More on Sound Heals Grief from Creator Kathleen McCauley Anast:
Grief comes to us in many different forms. The one that comes to mind and heart for most of us is a physical loss of a beloved, yet often what we discover is there are vast layers of grief. The more common are; divorce, losing a loved one, a child leaving home, a relationship ending, a move, the harrowing grasp of dealing with addictions with ourselves or a loved one, illness, aging, loss of home/job/identity, aloneness. Just to name a few.
One of the most profound ways of moving through and healing grief is through sounds. Healing sounds can clear and restore your well-being and physical body, it also gives you the opportunity to be held in its sacred vibrations. Allowing yourself to rest and work things out with the support and aid of integrity from another/others.
Together our hope is to create an environment where it is safe to acknowledge and release the grief one is holding in their body, heart, and mind. Within this intentional sound healing circle, we hold grief as sacred. Indigenous cultures have honored and held people moving through grief in high regard. Without this holding, it is much more challenging for a person or a family to bring forth their wisdom from the arrows and broken open places that have endured such hardship in their souls.
We hope you will join us for all or one of our monthly gatherings, each unique and facilitated by a different healing practitioner for Healing Grief in Sacred Sound. Together we can create a paradigm shift from grieving in isolation to grieving In connection, while being held in waves of sound infused with love and healing energies.
