Soul Motion is a practice where we cultivate our capacity to listen to that profound body wisdom and to the quiet whisperings of our souls. Foundations is open to everyone interested in the fundamentals of the work. It is a pre-requisite for the Soul Motion Teacher Training Program and is based on the lifework of Vinn Arjuna Martí.
This five-day immersion is for those just beginning their Soul Motion path as well as for seasoned movers looking to refresh. Emphasis is on Soul Motion’s four movement landscapes — dancing alone, dancing with another, dancing with everyone, dancing in the everyday — with special focus on the platforms of pause presence, orbit orientation and echo inspiration.
Come as you are. No prior dance experience required.
Camilla Steen Larsen
passionately lives her dream of bringing dance as a lifestyle to the world. She brings almost 30 years of experience in teaching movement in stillness and sound, and facilitates on dance floors across the globe, inspiring and motivating movers. Camilla’s work is enriched by her education in Biyun Medical Qi Gong, Nia (Black Belt) and Soul Motion®. In 2010 she opened Be moved in idyllic Frederiksberg in Copenhagen where she teaches and shares her love of conscious movement.

Michael Zipkin
has skipped and stumbled onto countless dance floors since first wandering into San Francisco’s Barefoot Boogie at the turn of the last millennium. He’s practiced and trained with Vinn Arjuna Martí, Zuza Engler, Michael Molin-Skelton and Kathy Altman, and was certified to teach Soul Motion in 2010. Along with Camilla and 11 other moving souls, he was certified to teach Foundations at its first training in 2019. Opening space for dancers to get a taste of themselves, he shivers in gratitude.
