DETAILS FOR THE FIRST EVER SOCAL BURN RIDE V: PRE-RIDE!


Date: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2018

Start: NICO'S FAMILY RESTAURANT, 7166 Shoup Avenue, West Hills, CA 91307

10AM: Casual Check In, get Rider Cards with Route, eat Breakfast (NOT included), get your Poker Run FLOP

KSU - whenever we're all paid up!  

First Stop: Neptune's Net, 42505 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265 to receive the Turn for the poker run and rehydrate (no food or beverage included here either, sorry). 

Last Stop / End Location: Adobe Cantina, 29100 Agoura Rd, Agoura Hills, CA 91301 to receive the River for the poker run and celebrate Margartia Monday (also not included, but we'll definitely cheers you).

The ride route takes about 90 minutes (without stops) and is a little over 60 miles.  It will include rural roads, and we will do our best to stay in a pack, but after a few miles, it's all canyon carving and the open air of the PCH :)  If you absolutely need to know the route beforehand, let us know & we can email you a copy in advance.

"Tickets" to this pre-ride are $10 each for both Riders and Passengers.  This is your donation to Firefighters Quest for Burn Survivors and helps us send people who have been injured in burn related accidents to 'Burn Camp' where families come together to heal.  It's also your 'entry' to the poker run raffle.  Winner will be announced on Sunday, October 7th at SoCal Burn Ride V by our Sponsors, the Law Tigers and if it's you, we'll contact you and make sure you get your prize, so don't forget to include your contact info on the Rider Card when you turn it in!

About the Ride:

Co-founded by burn survivor Trevor Holtan and US Marine Corps Major David Kuntz, the SoCal Burn Ride is a charity motorcycle ride to benefit burn survivors through the efforts of The Grossman Burn Foundation and Firefighters Quest for Burn Survivors and their locally based initiatives including Direct Patient Services, Burn Prevention Education, Survivor Support Groups and Family Camp.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Anyone with a motorcycle is welcome to attend the pre-ride, including passengers, for $10 each.

What's the refund policy?

This is a charity event to raise funds for burn survivors and their families.  No refunds will be given, so let's all hope for a beautiful day and a great ride!

 Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we will have a list of pre-registered tickets, so just bring your ID.

 Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

If your ID does not match the name of the person who purchased the ticket(s), try to come with that person, or have that person let us know in advance via email: info@socalburnride.com. Thanks!
