Surprised and frustrated by the lack of collaboration and creative conversation among legal professionals Sidebar has developed the JD Collaboration Room: a place for legal professionals from all backgrounds, experience levels, and organizations to connect and collaborate! 

Sidebar's JD Collaboration Room provides attendees an opportunity to connect with the Sidebar team, local legal professionals, organizations, and supporters of our mission looking to improve the legal community. Participate in one of our interactive brainstorming sessions and help us create practical solutions to problems facing legal professionals. 

At Sidebar, we are committed to doing things differently and making people feel welcome at our events. Space is extremely limited, so please RSVP ahead of time and if you are lucky enough to get a seat at the table, please don't flake on us and limit someone else's ability to participate!

Food?

Our JD Collaboration Room events are potluck style! How cool is that?! Breaking bread with others helps build community. A potluck is a communal gathering where each guest or group contributes a different, often homemade dish of food to be shared. Please bring a dish that can feed 5-10 people. Let us know what you are bringing on our Facebook event page! 

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

What's the refund policy?

There are no refunds. Period. Organizing these events is enough work in itself, managing refunds even more so. Be kind to us as we work to build our organization and its infrastructure. Because there are no refunds, please only register if you are committed to attending.  

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

No and no. Sorry, but your ticket needs to have your name on it. 

I'd like to advertise, market my services, and make a sales pitch to attendees. Is this event right for me? 

We support those individuals and companies looking to advertise and market their services, but this event is not the time or place for inorganic marketing pitches. Sidebar is all about building authentic relationships and the JD Collaboration Room is specifically for that purpose. If you or your organization would like to sponsor the JD Collaboration Room or other Sidebar events, please reach out to us contact@sidebar.legal. Sidebar reserves the right to refuse entry to our events. If our team notices any unwanted salesmen-esque behavior, we'll have to give you the boot (sorry, not sorry) and kick you off of our island!
