Scripted in Black: A WOC Reading Series is an intimate, performative reading series of works from local WOC writers and playwrights that speak to the beautiful everyday narratives of Black and Brown women.

What does genuine joy look and feel like to you? Let's gather, paint, laugh, share, feel, eat, sip + sister chat it up. SIB has teamed up with Kindred Connections Therapy Center to make YOU + YOUR JOY is this December's Love + Light gathering feature.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Due to some mature subject matter, the age requirement for this gathering is 18 and up.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is FREE street parking available on the weekends. Be sure to not park in a handicapped spot if you don't have the appropriate marker.

What can I bring into the event?

You can bring to the gathering a joyous, kind, and open energy and a level of transparency that you feel comfortable exploring.

 How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

 What's the refund policy?

There is a no refund policy on all tickets.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, please bring your ticket via phone or printed copy.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

It is okay if you are going in place of someone who can no longer go OR if the ticket was bought as a gift for you. Please make sure that is outlined in the Notes section when purchasing if it is a gift!
