Shut Up & Write! Albany

Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at Starbucks on Monday nights!

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice.

Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

6:30pm - SESSION 1: quick intros.

6:45pm - timer starts: write for 1 hour.

7:45pm - (the end) chat / take off / keep writing. Starbucks closes at 10:00pm.

SEATING: Tables along the cafe floor, plus multiple other chairs.

GUIDELINES: No outside food or drink. Please thank our hosts by purchasing something.

• Barnes & Noble does have WiFi.

• There are multiple outlets around the seating are, but it is best to come with your laptop Pre-charged.
