From the person who brought you "An Asian American Film Thing!"
"Shoes off, Mouth off" is a storytelling show with all AAPI storytellers!
This is the show where Asians and Asian-Americans have voices and address issues they face all the time. The storytellers will crush stereotypes and talk about subjects that are not usually associated with their community ie: mental health, sexuality, politics, etc. This is also a safe place where if a storyteller do associates with the "stereotype," it's okay! I AM QUIET AND SHY AND CAN'T DRIVE BUT I ALSO HATE SCHOOL AND GO TO THERAPY!
This show's theme: Moving On/Staying Still
Hosted by: Angel Yau and JiJi Lee

Featuring:

Sachi Ezura (After After Party, IFC)
